Background

Mazhar Mahmood & Co (MMC) was established as management consultancy firm in August 2008 based in Rawalpindi-Pakistan. The major activity of the firm is to provide the consultancy services to business community in the field of Accounts, Finance, Audit, Taxation, Management and Corporate Matters. Prefeasibility study is our core competency and conducted the studies in all three (industrial, Agriculture & Service) economic sectors. Two separate lists, one each for prefeasibility studies and small business plans, are given for clients understanding and their choice. All types of registration including NTN, GST, Partnership, Company, Chamber, Trade Mark, WeBoc and other licenses are dealt efficiently. MMC, later on, developed the capacity on step ahead and, now, providing the services to SMEDA as a facilitator for Business Development and Parliament House – (PIPS) for commentary on Government performance for outgoing financial year when next year budget is presented. Currently there are three qualified management accountants at the penal of MMC as lead managers for three major departments. He served for 30-years in different sizeable national and multi-national manufacturing, distribution and service industry with the job profile ranging from Accountant to GM / Director Finance. He has an extensive experience of all three levels of managements i,e operation, middle and higher management. He also got different appreciation letters from employers during his employment
Supply Chain management, budgeting, forecasting, current assets management (funds, receivable & inventory), business plan and pre–feasibility studies are few areas where he did his level best. His expertise include: Overall management of organization, financial analyses, Portfolio management, financial manuals, costing, reconciliations, capital budgeting, preparation of feasibility reports, internal controls, special / routine audit, investment proposals , sales team performance, Preparation of different incentive - schemes, HR – polices, designing Appraisal standard, recruitments, corporate litigations, distant management and designing of reports for management decision making etc
He has a hand on experience of IFRS / IAS, Companies Act 2017 / Repealed Companies Ordinance, 1984, prevailing Labor Laws, Tax Laws, Auditing Standard and other Provincial & local laws. Apart from above;
• Developed an economic model for Photowar that is handed over to Mr. Ahsan Iqbal- Minster for planning.

Ahmed Fayyaz-ud-Din

He has worked with renowned network solution providers like Siemens, Ericsson, Alcatel and Huawei for more than decade at different positions in Telecom Sector.Mr. Ahmed has also expertise in Project management (Delivery, Acceptance, Risk Management) Commercial Management (bidding/ contract management/vendor management) Account Management (end to end responsible), and Finance (Financial analysis, P&L management etc).
It is in his credit to complete assignment as Program Director PMO for STC Account at Saudi Arabia with Huawei Technologies. He served Alcatel Lucent as Contracts Manager for two years and also served as PMO Head for Alcatel Lucent for about three years. He was the member of team engaged in bidding and secured business for more than 100 Million Pakistan with various USD in Telco Industry and also involved in execution of more than 15 turnkey projects in operators including, but not limited to, Orascom,CMPAK,Telenor,Etisalat,SCO,Warid,NTC,NLC,Wateen&LinkDirect.
COMPLETED THREE AND HALF MONTHS TRAINING IN SHENZHEN, CHINA FOR INTERNATIONAL BIDDING OF TENDERS WHICH INCLUDES DESIGNING OF PRICING STRUCTURE FOR PROJECTS, FINALIZATION OF STATEMENT OF COMPLIANCE AND ANALYZING TAXATION STRUCTURE TO CALCULATE THE FINAL OFFER VALUE OF PROJECTS. HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR BID SUBMISSION OF A TRANSMISSION PROJECT OF TELKOM SOUTH AFRICA LIMITED.

He is an experienced financial consultant having 14 years’ Experience in financial management consultancy (both local and abroad& System Designing. He has an extensive experience in financial planning, prefeasibility study, review, analysis, income tax, sales tax, corporate matters and reporting. He has command of handling and supervising routine Accounting systems of clients
His portfolio includes around 50 satisfied organizations with computerized books of accounts. He is proud to have an opportunity to review an international project. He conducted various Cost Audits, Internal and External Audits for H.E.S. Apart from that he is heading both IT and Corporate Matters in MM & Co.

Currently, he is serving ICMA Pakistan as Chairman TSPD Committee and Member National Council. He has served as Team Leader, Petroleum Economist, Manager Finance, and Accounts Executive in International Companies like OMV Exploration & Production, Hunt Exploration, Pepsi Cola International, Transworld, and ICMA Pakistan.
